The participation in the construction of this remarkable residential building inspired our team to complement tanking and waterproofing systems with discerning architectural features as conceived by Allan Powell Architects Pty Ltd.  This spacious and refined domestic building with classic architectural features interpreted in contemporary finesse required close collaboration of all participants and especially with the Builders, Delft Constructions Pty. Ltd.

This collaborative approach saw a large basement comprising of garage, recreational and service areas comprehensively made watertight by applying our preferred tanking medium, Cosmofin 1.5 FG.  This tanking medium consists of a weldable PVC sheet membrane, cast-in water stops and various purpose-made flashings that are able to be fused to the sheet membrane to form homogenous sealed joints.

A series of podiums, which serve as loggias, courtyards or services areas and numerous First Floor balconies and terraces were waterproofed using our proprietary liquid-applied rubber-based waterproofing system.  Well thought out waterproofing membrane detailing concepts facilitated the installation of a variety of finishes such as “floating” terrazzo floors, grassed areas adjoining minimalist wall finishes over conventional brick walls.
